Nordic Ways is delighted to announce the collaboration with Wilderness Trail Bikes (WTB) as its official technical sponsor of the 2012 Genghis Khan MTB Adventure, which takes place in the Inner Mongolian town of Xiwuqi between 29 June and 1 July. All participants in the 6th edition of the three-day stage competition in the undulating grasslands will enjoy the benefits of the high-value agreement between WTB and event organizer Nordic Ways. It is the first time that the Asian branch of the American company supports an event to this extent.
WTB was founded in Marin County, California in 1982 as a company that specializes in mountain bicycle parts. Now WTB’s global headquarters, Marin County, actually rates as the birthplace of the mountain bike whose roots can be traced to the end of the 1970s. Initially focusing on design and high-end components, WTB has recently also entered the global market and succeeded in selling its products worldwide. WTB’s core business today is selling high-quality wheels, rims, tyres, saddles and grips.
Of particular interest if WTB’s development of the Tubeless Compatible System, “TCS.” On the wheel side of TCS at the highest level are WTB’s outstanding Stryker wheels and Frequency Rims. and TCS tyres, which redefine tubeless technology. WTB’s TCS tyres are the first sealant tubeless tyres that fit perfectly with the UST compliant rims, so that you can truly say goodbye to air compressors, tyre levers, pinch flats, and ghetto tubeless! WTB’s saddle line is also worth noting, especially the new Volt saddles and the proven Silverado saddles.
The Genghis Khan MTB Adventure has become a classic event in China over the past five years. It is the only stage race for mountainbikers in the country, and has continuously received widespread acclaim. Nordic Ways wishes to thank WTB for the extensive support, and looks forward to a long and fruitful cooperation.
