The Tour of Beijing is the last (stage) race in the 2013 UCI World Tour, the highest level of races in the world that includes all 19 ProTour professional teams and a number of wildcard teams. Team Cannondale is one of those professional teams in the highest tier of the sport and with Peter Sagan even has one of the hottest riders in the peloton today. Whether Sagan will take part in Beijing between 11 and 15 October remains to be seen, but Team Cannondale has other top riders in its ranks such as Moreno Moser (nephew of the legendary Francesco Moser, winner of Le Strade Bianche last March, and hottest Italian prospect of the moment), Elia Viviani and Damiano Caruso.
